app-ads.txt

App-ads.txt is a list of authorized sellers that publishers provide DSP with their APP ad sources.Publishers use the file to designate authorized digital sellers of their ad inventory, and DSPs use it to validate that they are buying inventory through an authorized source.Publishers host this file on the root domain of their website that is linked from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. When an ad request with an app is sent out, an advertiser can check the app-ads.txt file, and verify that the publisher ID included in the ad request matches the corresponding ID in the app-ads.txt file to avoid ad fraud.

If you don't implement app-ads.txt, it may hurt your eCPMs because there will be less advertisers willing to pay you for ads.Implementation is optional, but we strongly recommend it for the purpose of transparency.

Implement app-ads.txt

1.Provide a developer website in your App Store or Google Play listings.

Ensure that the proper developer website URL is accessible in the developer website section of the app store. This website will be used by advertising platforms to verify the app-ads.txt file

2.Create the app-ads.txt file

According to the following IAB structure, create a row for each publisher ID in the app-ads.txt file.

Ad Source Domain: For Mintegral, this value is mintegral.com

Publisher ID: Your Publisher ID.

Type of Relationship: Your direct demand partners should be listed as “direct.” If your partners are using third-party resellers to sell your inventory, such providers should be listed as “reseller.” In any case, you should not add any provider to your app-ads.txt file unless you or your partner have a direct relationship with them.

Ad Source ID: This is the ad source’s TAG ID. For Mintegral, the value is 0aeed750c80d6423.

example: mintegral.com, XXXX, DIRECT, 0aeed750c80d6423

3. Upload the app-ads.txt file to the root of your website domain

for example:

www.example.com/app-ads.txt.

Mintegral authorized resellers

Remember to replace [yourPublisherID] with your Mintegral Publisher ID, which can be found account info in your mintegral dashboard.
